Project Coordinator - Infrastructure and Civil Engineering

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support the planning, execution, and delivery of civil/infrastructure projects within our Project Management Office (PMO). The ideal candidate will leverage a background in civil engineering and quantity surveying to ensure robust contract management, accurate cost control, and seamless coordination among stakeholders. This role reports to the PMO Manager and works closely with project managers, procurement teams, and external contractors to uphold schedule, budget, and quality objectives across multiple infrastructure initiatives.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Assist in developing and maintaining detailed project schedules for multiple infrastructure and civil works projects.
  • Coordinate with project teams to gather activity durations, dependencies, and milestone dates.
  • Monitor progress against the baseline schedule and escalate any potential delays to the PMO Manager.

Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or equivalent from an accredited institution.
  • Professional Experience: Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in quantity surveying, contract administration, or civil project coordination—ideally within an academic or institutional setting.
  • Exposure to preparing and reviewing bidding documents in accordance with public procurement regulations.
  • Demonstrated ability to verify bills, finalize rates, and manage Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for both small-scale and large-scale projects.

Working Conditions:
  • Office-based role with occasional site visits to ongoing civil/infrastructure projects.
  • Normal working hours are Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM; flexibility required for project milestones or urgent bid submissions.
  • Moderate travel (up to 20%) to regional project sites.
