Telecom Infrastructure Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Telecom Infrastructure Designer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CAD technology and experience working on telecom infrastructure projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating accurate and detailed CAD drawings that support the design and analysis of telecom infrastructure projects. They will work closely with engineers and project managers to translate conceptual designs and specifications into technical drawings, ensuring compliance with quality and industry standards.

  • Create, modify, and maintain detailed CAD drawings for telecom infrastructure projects, including towers, masts, and base stations.
  • Convert design concepts and sketches from engineers into clear, professional technical drawings.
  • Ensure all CAD drawings meet quality standards and are compliant with industry specifications.
  • Assist in the preparation of design reports and technical documentation.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers and project teams to adjust designs based on specifications and project needs.
  • Manage and organize CAD files and data according to industry standards.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A qualification in CAD Technology, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a relevant technical discipline.
  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience as a Telecom Infrastructure Designer or in a similar role.
  • Experience with telecommunications infrastructure is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and working knowledge of MS Office (Word and Excel).
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities in a technical setting.
  • Proficient in both written and spoken English.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a team environment.
