Job Overview

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the finance department in a field office. This includes managing staff, providing support to the Deputy Director Community Mobilization on small grants projects, and ensuring compliance with IRC and donor procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of finance department operations
  • Supervise Field Office based Finance Officer and Grants Officer
  • Provide support to Deputy Director Community Mobilization on Small Grants Project management
  • Ensure compliance with IRC and donor procedures and guidelines
  • Review payment documents and bank reconciliations
  • Perform regular monitoring of HMCs
  • Liaise with implementing partners and provide guidance on IRC and donor policies
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Accounting/Finance or CA (Part Qualified)
  • Advanced Diploma in Accounting from recognized College/Institutions with a minimum of five years of accounting experience
  • MS Office Skills with proficiency in Excel; accounting package knowledge (SUN system) will be an added advantage
