Project Manager Role

We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to lead our socio-economic inclusion project in KP province, Peshawar District. This role involves overseeing the field implementation, coordination, and monitoring of the project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the delivery of livelihoods programs by working with stakeholders, donors, government, and country office.
  • Establish and oversee program delivery mechanisms at targeted areas.
  • Plan project activities, including beneficiary registration, needs assessments, and development plans.
  • Ensure efficient implementation of livelihoods programs at community level.
  • Provide innovative solutions for building more efficient and coordinated livelihood programs.
  • Identify key stakeholders who can contribute to broadening and deepening project outcomes.
  • Conduct field visits to assess quality of field implementation and take corrective measures.
  • Develop training material, conduct community-level trainings, and deliver capacity building trainings.
  • Address problems between community and project teams or among community members during project activities.
  • Document success stories, case studies, and reporting documents as required.
Qualifications and Experience
  • University degree in Disaster Risk Management, Social Sciences, or Management Sciences or related field.
  • At least 5 years' experience working on FSL and socio-economic inclusion projects, preferably with UN agencies.
  • Mandatory 1-2 years of project/team management experience.
  • Experience in administrative support, workshops organization, research, analysis, and report writing.
  • Experience in working with government officials and non-governmental organizations.
  • Demonstrated experience in complex working environments.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office software packages and web-based applications.
Skills and Abilities
  • Understanding of community participation and DRR integration in recovery projects.
  • Knowledge of PSEA, Protection & GBV, Gender & Inclusiveness in recovery context.
  • Knowledge of low-cost structural mitigation activities.
  • Ability to communicate in local languages.
  • Diplomacy, tact, and administrative skills for managerial and senior government levels.
