Senior IT Auditor Position

We are seeking a skilled Senior IT Auditor to lead our team in executing tests of design and operating effectiveness. The ideal candidate will have strong experience testing IT General Controls, preferably from Big4 accounting firms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the IT Audit manager in planning audit engagements for IT SOX Assessments.
  • Lead a team of 2-3 IT auditors in executing tests of design and operating effectiveness.
  • Monitor and drive completion of assigned tasks.
  • Engage with stakeholders and auditees during process walkthroughs.
  • Identify control gaps and provide recommendations for improvement based on conducted tests.
  • Review audit workpapers and offer constructive feedback to team members.
  • Monitor status of audit documentation requests and escalate timely, as needed.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to communicate audit status, follow-up requests, and findings.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of strong experience testing IT General Controls, preferably from Big4 accounting firms.
  • Solid understanding of IT processes including access management, change management, SDLC, and computer operations.
  • Demonstrated technical knowledge of SAP security.
  • Experience auditing various infrastructure platforms such as Unix, Linux, Windows, and SQL.
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of audit methodologies and tools supporting audit processes.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Able to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Works well in a team environment, fostering inclusion and building effective relationships with both team members and stakeholders.
  • Desire to stay current with new and changing technologies.
  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and willing to be challenged.
  • Certified information systems auditor (CISA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or other technology-driven certifications.
