Job Title

We are seeking a highly skilled Center People Team Director to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our operations.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the Center People Team, ensuring effective implementation of policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with line managers to guide them through the employee decision-making process on a daily basis.
  • Conduct thorough investigations into internal employee complaints, ensuring a fair and impartial outcome.
  • Lead interviews and provide constructive feedback and recommendations to the leadership team.
  • Facilitate regular employee discussion groups, providing valuable insights to the leadership team.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive safety and security risk management program, minimizing hazards and ensuring timely reporting of workers' compensation claims.
  • Monitor and track progress towards People department goals, contributing to the success of operations and aligning with the People Team Vision and Mission.
  • Assist team members with open enrollment and monitor pay practices to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Collaborate with other department managers to ensure smooth workflow and exceptional quality of service, driving performance management and appraisal processes forward.
  • Manage unemployment claims, including representation during the appeal process.
  • Supervise and direct the Center People Team, fostering a culture of excellence and growth.
Requirements
  • Prior experience working in a call center environment is essential.
  • A strong background in all areas of Human Resources Management is necessary.
  • Competencies in HR administration, legal/regulatory compliance, supervisory development, diversity, and management training are required.
  • Demonstrated expertise in HR knowledge, skills, and applicable experience is expected.
  • Proven ability to motivate and supervise staff members effectively.
  • The capacity to exercise independent judgment and handle multiple assignments simultaneously is crucial.
