As the Director of Commercial Sales Engineering, you will lead high-performing teams, develop junior sales engineers, conduct product demonstrations, and design innovative solutions that drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and direct a team of commercial sales engineering managers and sales engineers.
  • Collaborate closely with sales leadership to develop strategies that drive revenue growth.
  • Establish best practices for commercial sales engineering functions.
  • Partner with recruiting teams to attract top talent.
  • Design and implement training programs to enhance skills and performance.
  • Provide actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Act as a liaison between sales engineering teams and internal departments.
Requirements:
  • Proven second-line leadership experience overseeing technical pre-sales teams.
  • Bachelor's degree required; Bachelor's of Science preferred.
  • Familiarity with value selling concepts or related training programs.
  • Previous experience as an individual contributing sales engineer is essential.
  • Experience overseeing commercial sales cycles and supporting high-volume sales.
  • Knowledge of hardware, cloud software, IoT, and AI/ML is beneficial.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
