Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced professional to drive safety and sustainability initiatives in our Middle East operations. The successful candidate will work on projects that target workplace safety and environmental excellence, leveraging their technical background and leadership skills.

  • Draft, implement, and maintain EHS standards to ensure a safe and incident-free workplace across Siemens Energy Middle East.
  • Coordinate with various functions, including Project Management and Service Operations, to align EHS processes and procedures.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify risks, implement corrective measures, and ensure compliance with EHS standards.
  • Lead campaigns and programs to enhance EHS engagement and awareness within the region.
  • Collaborate with the Procurement Team to assess and monitor supplier EHS performance and requirements.
Requirements:
  • A degree in mechanical, electrical, chemical, environment, or petroleum engineering, complemented by NEBOSH IGC Level 3 certification.
  • Auditor training in ISO 45001 and ISO 14001, with a preference for Certified Safety Professional certification.
  • Minimum of 8 to 15 years of experience in EHS functions, focusing on defining and implementing EHS processes for projects or facilities in power plants or the oil & gas industry.
  • Proven experience in power plants, oil & gas industry, or service-related industry for rotating equipment, with at least 5 years in EHS roles.
  • Ability to work effectively with multicultural teams, showcasing exceptional leadership and communication skills.
