Job Title: Digital Banking Operations Manager

Description:

This role is responsible for overseeing the bank's linked services and alternate delivery channels. The successful candidate will ensure service excellence, innovation, operational efficiency, and compliance with regulatory standards.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Banking & Finance, or related field, and minimum of 5–7 years of experience in banking or financial services.

The candidate should have at least 3 years in a role focused on electronic banking, digital channels, card services, or IT operations, and demonstrated experience in managing ATM, POS, or mobile/internet banking platforms.

The successful candidate will also have a strong understanding of alternate delivery channels (ADC) such as mobile apps, USSD, agency banking, ATMs, POS, and internet banking, as well as knowledge of card switching systems and core banking systems.

In addition, the candidate should have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong leadership and team management capabilities, and knowledge of local and international banking regulations related to digital channels.

The role requires the ability to manage and oversee the bank's linked services and alternate delivery channels, ensuring service excellence, innovation, operational efficiency, and compliance with regulatory standards.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for digital banking and a drive to stay up-to-date with industry developments and trends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the bank's linked services and alternate delivery channels

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business needs and opportunities
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and trends, and make recommendations for improvements and innovations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Banking & Finance, or related field
  • Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in banking or financial services
  • At least 3 years in a role focused on electronic banking, digital channels, card services, or IT operations
  • Demonstrated experience in managing ATM, POS, or mobile/internet banking platforms
  • Strong understanding of alternate delivery channels (ADC) such as mobile apps, USSD, agency banking, ATMs, POS, and internet banking
