Key Operations Role

The Key Operations Role is a crucial position within an organization that requires strategic planning, management, and coordination of various operations areas. The role involves implementing efficient processes, providing exceptional customer services, supervising branch banking operations, and developing the capacity of operations staff.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Establishing a culture of compliance, quality service, performance excellence, and continuous improvement.
  • Enhancing systems and controls at branches, ensuring business continuity management practices are in place.
  • Promoting innovation and supporting technology solutions to boost operational productivity and efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field such as commerce.
  • A minimum of 10 years' experience in branch banking or operations, preferably with a mix of microfinance and commercial banking experience, including at least 3 years in a senior supervisory or managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of banking laws, regulations, products, and services.
  • Familiarity with market trends, competitor analysis, and microfinance market niche products.
  • Understanding of SBP policies, prudential regulations, and other statutory laws.
