Job Description
  • Perform month-end closing procedures, ensuring timely completion of the accounting cycle.
  • Prepare and post reclassification, prepaid, accruals, and other general ledger entries in Oracle NetSuite to guarantee accurate financial statements.
  • Balance sheet account reconciliations and income statement analytic procedures are performed regularly.
  • Track and review CAM and Tax reconciliations, resolving any discrepancies promptly.
  • Reconcile monthly inter-company accounts with subsidiaries, addressing any outstanding items.
  • Prepare journal entries and maintain supporting documentation for all transactions.
  • Collaborate with team members to drive the efficient completion of the monthly accounting close.
  • Accounts receivable cash postings and reconciliations are also a key responsibility.
  • Lease accounting and ASC 842 lease accounting adoption are areas of focus.
  • Fixed asset accounting is another critical aspect of this role.
  • Establish, document, implement, maintain, and adhere to accounting policies and procedures.
  • Additional projects and ad-hoc reporting duties may be assigned as needed.
Requirements

Work Experience:

  • A minimum of 4 years combined accounting and finance experience is required.
  • 1-2 years of General Ledger accounting experience, including inter-company transactions, is also necessary.
Skills:
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are essential.
  • Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with relevant computer accounting software.
Education:
  • CA Finalist or ACCA Qualified is mandatory.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting and finance is preferred.
  • Workdays: Monday - Friday.
  • Work hours: Night shift.
