Business Development Manager

The role of Business Development Manager is to identify trendsetting ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements; tracking individual contributors and their accomplishments.

  1. Identify Emerging Opportunities: The ideal candidate will research and stay up-to-date on industry trends, identifying potential areas for growth and development.
  2. Develop Strategic Partnerships: They will locate or propose potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities to collaborate and grow the business.
  3. Evaluate and Close Deals: The Business Development Manager will screen potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options and recommending equity investments.
  4. Negotiate and Close Deals: They will develop negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new venture with company strategies and operations; examining risks and potentials; estimating partners' needs and goals.
  5. Maintain Confidentiality: Protecting the organization's value by keeping information confidential is essential for this role.
  6. Stay Up-to-Date: The Business Development Manager will update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
  7. Enhance Organization Reputation: By accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments, they will contribute to the growth and success of the organization.
