This role is responsible for spearheading business expansion initiatives, identifying market gaps, and ensuring the achievement of monthly targets and broader business objectives.
The Business Development Manager will hold a strategic leadership position, overseeing the development of an end-to-end on-ground payments ecosystem driven by mobile wallets. This involves establishing a robust network of payment acceptance points and facilitating merchant-to-distributor payments.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing strategies for business expansion, identifying new market segments, and opportunities for growth
- Conducting comprehensive market analyses to identify gaps, opportunities, and potential challenges
- Proposing solutions to address market loopholes and enhance business efficiency
- Leading, coaching, and guiding the sales team to achieve monthly targets and align with broader business objectives
- Developing strategic plans, setting clear objectives, and establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) for the sales team
- Cultivating and nurturing strategic relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and clients to foster business growth and collaborations
- Monitoring and analyzing sales performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to the management
- Implementing training programs and initiatives to enhance the skills and capabilities of the sales team

Requirements
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in business development, strategic planning, or sales management
- Proven experience in team leadership and management
- Expertise in Distribution Management and Key Stakeholder Engagement
