IT Support Specialist Job Summary

We are seeking an IT Support Specialist to join our team. As an IT Support Specialist, you will provide technical assistance and support to ensure the smooth operation of our computer systems and networks.

  • Provide onsite support for hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Troubleshoot system setup, user support, and ensure IT compliance.

You will be responsible for:

  1. Installation and configuration/troubleshooting of computer hardware, software, systems, networks, wireless, IP phones, printers, scanners, UPS, and IP cameras.
  2. Solving users' computer-related problems.
  3. Performing installation and upgrades on all PCs/Notebooks.
  4. Endpoint support and ensuring antivirus software runs perfectly on all systems.
  5. Tier 1 local application support.
  6. Ensuring that no illegal software is installed in the company.
  7. Accomplishing all tasks and responsibilities assigned by the Assistant Manager IT Support.
  8. Maintaining computer systems and networks links.
  9. Responding promptly to service issues and requests.
  10. Providing technical support across the organization (in person and over the phone).
  11. Setting up AD accounts for new users.
  12. Repairing and replacing equipment as needed.
  13. Using strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills to resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
  14. Maintaining good communication with customers through various channels.
  15. Responding to customer inquiries and acting accordingly.

Qualification and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in IT support.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Duty hours would be 12 hours on-site (Monday to Friday).
  • Experience/certification in Microsoft Windows and other Microsoft products.
