IT Leadership Position

The IT Operations Manager oversees the planning, organization, control, and evaluation of IT operations. This includes designing, developing, implementing, and coordinating systems, policies, and procedures to ensure the security of data, network access, and backup systems.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop information technology and computer systems strategies
  • Plan, organize, control, and evaluate IT operations
  • Design, develop, implement, and coordinate systems, policies, and procedures
  • Ensure security of data, network access, and backup systems
  • Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational strategy
  • Manage staff by recruiting, training, and coaching employees, communicating job expectations, and appraising their performance
  • Audit systems and assess their outcomes
  • Preserve assets, information security, and control structures
  • Develop and analyze systems that are to be used by employees and managers
Requirements
  • Should understand software specifications and make necessary pre-installations
  • Ability to troubleshoot any kind of systems-related problems and maintain security of systems
  • Proficient in working with office applications, ERP software, communications systems, etc.
  • Expertise in planning and maintaining enterprise hardware and software
  • Ability to accept challenges and tackle difficult situations to meet expected goals
  • Focused on best practices and models used in industry to meet employee expectations
  • Good project management skills with attention to qualitative and quantitative aspects

The ideal candidate will have experience in managing IT projects, expertise in IT infrastructure management and IT governance, hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration, and network installation.
