Business Development Professional

METRO Pakistan (Pvt) Limited operates wholesale centers across multiple locations, leveraging resources to generate value for customers and suppliers. The company is part of METRO GROUP's sales division, with operations spanning 25 countries in Europe, Asia, and Africa.

The Business Development Professional will be accountable for a portfolio business plan targeting new and existing customers. Key responsibilities include identifying business potential, developing professional relationships through personal visits, and analyzing daily customer data before visits to set sales objectives.

Key qualifications include an intermediate level of education or graduation, accompanied by strong communication, interpersonal, and team leadership skills. Additionally, effective analytical and decision-making skills are essential.

  • Follow up on new customer activity to understand needs and respond to feedback.

  • Maintain sound market knowledge of customers, competitors, and suppliers to deal effectively with competition.
  • Prepare business cases and use commercial tools to attract customers based on their needs.
  • Analyze daily customer data before visits and set sales objectives.
  • Maintain customer files and follow up accordingly.
  • Prepare feasibility reports for business solutions.
  • Plan weekly activities based on portfolio priorities.
  • Conduct store tours and share information with Department Managers for alignment.
