Sales Forecasting Specialist

This role plays a critical part in Unilever's supply chain strategy, focusing on Demand Planning. As a Demand Planning Specialist, you will develop and implement strategic plans to optimize inventory levels, manage production schedules, and ensure timely delivery of products to customers.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain accurate forecasts of customer demand for products, taking into account historical data, market trends, and seasonal patterns
Evaluate and refine existing forecasting methods, recommending improvements to maximize efficiency and accuracy
Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of demand planning strategies
What You'll Need
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., mathematics, statistics, economics) or related field
Minimum 3 years of experience in demand planning, analytics, or a related field
Proven ability to collect and analyze large datasets, identify trends, and create actionable insights
Strong proficiency in MS Excel, with advanced knowledge of statistical modeling techniques
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working with cross-functional teams
