Job Description

As a seasoned External Communications Senior Representative, you will lead the external communication and public relations agenda for Pakistan.

  • You will drive reputation-building initiatives, amplify the brand narrative, engage stakeholders, and execute earned media strategies to enhance PepsiCo's brand reputation in Pakistan.
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with key government stakeholders, business forums, media outlets, journalists, influencers, and third-party PR agencies.

This role requires exceptional written and verbal communication skills for crafting compelling stories that captivate diverse audiences.

Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and execute strategic external communications plans aligned with corporate objectives to amplify PepsiCo's brand narrative.
  2. Draft, review, and distribute press releases, op-eds, corporate statements, media briefs, and thought leadership content to promote the company's story.
  3. Manage media engagements for senior executives, preparing briefing documents, Q&A, talking points, and speeches.
  4. Lead the execution of storytelling campaigns across earned and owned media to build visibility of PepsiCo's business impact.
  5. Partner with the Sustainability team to amplify CSR and environmental initiatives through external channels.
  6. Monitor and analyze media coverage, providing regular reports and insights to leadership.
Qualifications:
  • 5-6 years of experience in External/Corporate Communications, Media Relations, or Public Relations in FMCG environments.
  • Demonstrated success in reputation management, government relations, content creation/publishing, and public-facing leadership roles.
  • Proven ability to work with senior leadership, media, influencers, government, trade associations, and external agencies.
