Global Supply Chain Manager

We are looking for an experienced and passionate professional to join our team as a Global Supply Chain Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the customer's supply chain, ensuring efficient transfer of quotation enquiry and purchase request into PO, and tracking the PO to ensure on time delivery.

  • Communicate closely with internal customers (sales, engineering, project management etc.) to ensure smooth transfer of quotation enquiry and purchase request into PO.
  • Manage overseas suppliers to maintain communication channels for technical information sharing, quotation negotiation, and purchase order tracking.
  • Implement proactive risk management approach to prevent delivery delay, cost overcharges, and quality non-conformance.
  • Search for new suppliers through different ways to prepare for potential future business demand.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3-5 years working experience in a manufacturing company, preferably covering sourcing or procurement responsibility.
  • Proficient in finding suppliers globally and evaluating their capability to fulfill demand.
  • Understanding of normal workflow within a factory from receiving sales order, planning, purchasing, manufacturing, quality assurance to final delivery to customer.
  • Cost analysis and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to use MS Suite (Excel & Word) and ERP (SAP).
  • Excellent English written and spoken skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain or related area.
