Job Title: DevOps Engineer

At our company, we are seeking an experienced professional to join our dynamic team as a DevOps Engineer. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless code releases and service deployments.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Linux fundamentals, scripting languages, and cloud platforms. You will collaborate with software developers to facilitate code releases and ensure smooth deployment of services. Additionally, you will monitor systems for continual availability, troubleshoot issues, and implement best practices in security and logging.

This role involves working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to streamline our development and operational processes. You will help manage and optimize our cloud environments in AWS and Google Cloud Platform. Your expertise will enable us to deliver high-quality services to our users.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the DevOps team and software developers to ensure seamless code releases and service deployments.
  • Administer and deploy Linux server instances remotely, maintaining optimal system performance.
  • Manage cloud environments using AWS and Google Cloud Platform to ensure efficient resource utilization.
  • Implement monitoring systems and practices to maintain 24x7 operational availability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to system and application configurations swiftly.
  • Utilize scripting languages to automate repetitive tasks and streamline workflows.
  • Implement Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools such as GitLab and Jenkins.
  • Evaluate and enhance monitoring and logging processes, leveraging tools such as the ELK Stack.
  • Apply security best practices to safeguard data and infrastructure against potential vulnerabilities.
  • Maintain version control systems to ensure proper code management and collaboration.
  • Provide support for system usage and application configuration troubleshooting.
  • Stay updated on the latest DevOps trends and technologies to continuously improve practices.
