Experienced Construction Professional Sought for Senior Estimator Role

We are looking for an experienced construction professional to fill the role of Senior Estimator.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of project management principles and be proficient in utilizing estimating software and tools.

This position offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from residential to commercial developments, and contribute to the growth and success of our company.

Responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing project plans, specifications, and client communication to determine project scope and requirements
  • Utilizing estimating software and tools to create take-offs and proposals based on company SOPs and protocols
  • Identifying potential risks and challenges that may impact project costs and schedules
  • Responding to client requests for breakouts, SOVs, VE's, pricing adjustments, escalations, and other scenarios

Requirements for this position include:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • At least 5 years of verifiable experience as an Estimator and/or reading construction blueprints on a daily basis
  • Strong proficiency in reading blueprints and using software such as estimating software, Excel, Word, and PDF readers
  • Detailed, organized, and precise with strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders
