Quality Assurance Specialist

About the Role

This is a senior-level position requiring hands-on experience in managing quality assurance and control departments within various sectors.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead all quality assurance operations including lab testing, inspections, documentation, inventory checks, and team leadership.
  • Ensure full compliance with internal and external quality standards across production units.
  • Oversee export quality checks and ensure all shipments meet specifications and deadlines.
  • Manage and resolve customer quality complaints to maintain high customer satisfaction levels.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and procurement for timely availability of raw materials and QA-related inventory.
  • Organize training sessions and skill development programs for departmental staff.
  • Key Deliverables:
  • Prepare and manage the department's annual budget, including equipment upgrades and resource planning.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in quality assurance and control.
  • In-depth understanding of ISO 9001:2015 quality systems.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and team management capabilities.
  • Proven ability to coordinate cross-functionally and maintain high operational standards.

The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience in quality control and assurance, preferably in the chemical manufacturing industry. They should hold a Master's degree in Applied Chemistry and be certified as a Lead Auditor (ISO 9001:2015).
