Job Summary

As a Medical Officer, Anaesthesiology, you will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the hospital's mission of delivering exceptional healthcare services.

Responsibilities
  • Perform preoperative anaesthesia assessment of patients
  • Provide perioperative anaesthesia care to patients undergoing surgery
  • Provide anaesthesia care to patients undergoing procedures outside the operating room (Radiology, Radiotherapy and endoscopy suites, etc)
  • Perform related procedures under the supervision of a consultant
  • Follow the hospital's quality and patient safety policies in the provision of patient care
  • Take part in department quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
  • MBBS degree from HEC recognized university
  • At least seven years post MBBS experience in related areas
  • Ability to maintain continuous open and consistent communication with faculty, staff, patients, and their families
  • Strong decision-making sense by weighing several factors and developing solutions that address the root cause of the problem and prevent recurrence
  • Ability to act quickly to address a crisis situation drawing on appropriate resources
  • Command over counselling patients and their families
  • Comprehensive employment reference checks will be conducted
