Human Resource Generalist Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Human Resource Generalist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on technical recruitment and be able to develop effective strategies to meet our staffing needs.

The successful candidate will have 03 to 07 years of experience in the human resource department with a proven track record of success in hiring and maintaining permanent staff, contractors, and remote workers. A degree in Human Resources Management, IT, or a relevant field is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Maintain organization staff by establishing a recruiting program, counseling managers on candidate selection, conducting exit interviews, and recommending changes.
  2. Maintain a database of all candidates and conduct pre-screening calls to assess applicants' abilities.
  3. Interview candidates using various methods, such as structured interviews, technical assessments, and behavioral questions.
  4. Coordinate with IT team leaders to forecast department goals and hiring needs.
  5. Ensure planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results by training managers to coach and discipline employees, scheduling management conferences, hearing and resolving employee grievances, counseling employees and supervisors.
  6. Maintain employee benefits programs by studying benefit needs and trends, recommending benefit programs to management, and designing educational programs.
  7. Maintain management guidelines by preparing and updating human resource policies and procedures.
  8. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by staying up-to-date with industry trends in IT and Computer Science.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  1. Technical recruitment experience in a technology firm.
  2. Ability to develop recruiting strategies that meet anticipated staffing needs.
  3. Experience of hiring and maintaining permanent staff.
  4. Experience of hiring and maintaining contractors (part time), remote staff using services like Upwork etc.
  5. Professional testing and interviewing cycle for candidates and screening IT resumes.
  6. Worked with HR systems.
  7. Build and manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
  8. Knowledge of Labor laws and regulations.
  9. Detail-oriented and have strong interpersonal skills.
