The Role of Assistant Manager Procurement

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Procure packaging materials, technical equipment & devices, and utilities from national and international suppliers.
  2. Assist in planning and managing purchasing strategies for equipment and supplies.
  3. Maintain and update supplier information for accuracy and reliability.
  4. Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with vendors.
  5. Conduct market research to evaluate new suppliers for quality, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability.
  6. Monitor and evaluate supplier performance to ensure they meet contractual obligations.
  7. Ensure compliance with procurement policies and industry regulations.
  8. Support procurement reporting and analysis.
  9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet procurement needs.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
  2. Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
  3. Strong negotiation skills and ability to build vendor relationships.
  4. Excellent market research and analytical skills.
  5. In-depth knowledge of procurement processes and supplier management.
