We are seeking a skilled Tax Accountant to oversee tax payments and returns for our organization. To excel in this role, you should demonstrate a keen interest in staying up-to-date with changes to tax regulations and laws.
Responsibilities:- Accurate and Timely Tax Payments: Prepare accurate and timely tax payments.
- Estimate and track tax returns to minimize liabilities.
- Quarterly and Annual Tax Reports: Compile and submit quarterly and annual tax reports.
- Organize and maintain accurate records of tax payments.
- Tax Strategies: Develop and recommend tax strategies that align with business objectives.
- Prepare and process necessary paperwork for tax payments and returns.
- Financial Data Collaboration: Collaborate with the accounting department to share financial data.
- Identify opportunities for tax savings and suggest ways to increase profits.
- Industry Trends: Stay informed about industry trends and track changes related to taxes.
- Liaise with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance.
- Forecasting and Insights: Forecast tax predictions and provide insights to senior managers.
- Proven work experience as a Tax Accountant or equivalent role.
- Knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures.
- Familiarity with accounting software packages.
- Excellent Analytical and Time Management Skills.
