Accountant Job Summary

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for multiple clients. Record financial transactions, perform reconciliations, and prepare and submit VAT returns as required.

About This Role

As a skilled Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining the financial health of our clients' businesses. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide expert guidance on financial matters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
  • Record and reconcile financial transactions
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns as required
  • Assist in producing management accounts and year-end accounts
  • Liaise with clients to resolve queries and manage deliverables
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of UK accounting standards and regulations. They will be proficient in Sage, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Excel, with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Prior experience working in a remote, client-facing accounting role is preferred.
