Job Opportunity: Payroll Testing Specialist

Are you a detail-oriented and analytical individual with a passion for payroll testing? We are seeking an experienced Payroll Testing Specialist to join our team in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of our payroll system.

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled professional to support our payroll transformation program as we transition from legacy systems to a new platform. This role is critical in designing and executing comprehensive test cases across payroll modules to ensure seamless data migration and accurate calculations.

  • Design and execute test cases to validate payroll data migration from existing systems to the new platform.
  • Perform end-to-end payroll testing, including parallel runs, retro payments, terminations, superannuation, and tax calculations.
  • Collaborate with functional consultants, payroll subject matter experts, and HRIS teams to identify testing priorities and document results.
  • Log, track, and verify defects using defect management tools like JIRA.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 4-5 years' hands-on payroll testing experience with a strong understanding of payroll systems and processes.
  • Previous involvement in system transitions, with excellent analytical and documentation skills.
  • Proficient in developing test scripts, test plans, and using defect management tools, with excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Australian Timings will be followed.
