Job Title: Merchandising & Marketing Executive

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the knitted garments industry, possessing a deep understanding of fabrics, production processes, and market trends. He/She will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies to increase our facility awareness and sales revenue.

Responsibilities:
  • Drive the team to expedite the process from scratch to shipment.
  • Develop new business opportunities with fresh Buyers.
  • Acquire new customers and maintain existing client base.
  • Coordinate with the production team to deliver on-time shipments of orders.
  • Work closely with the planning manager to determine delivery schedules and sequences of production execution.
  • Have in-depth knowledge of fabrics, PPC, trims, and accessories.
  • Ensure smooth and efficient correspondence and communication with buyers locally as well as internationally.
  • Prepare costing sheets and pricing of knit garments.
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities in the global market.
  • Develop and implement marketing plans to increase our facility awareness and sales revenue.
  • Establish a long-range plan on capacity and business growth to leverage low cost and improve on-time delivery.
  • Manage costing, cost analysis, price negotiation, and buyer meetings.
  • Oversee product development, trend analysis, fashion forecasting, and sustainable material sourcing according to buyer and company requirements.
  • Ensure smooth production process follow-up, right time delivery, and quality assurance.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in the knitted garments industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Willingness to travel for business purposes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic software used in the industry.
