Job Description

A senior business professional plays a pivotal role in the success of projects by ensuring project objectives align with strategic business goals. This position involves collecting, documenting, and maintaining requirements as defined by stakeholders for all development efforts.

The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills. They will be responsible for coordinating across all technical resources throughout the software development lifecycle, ensuring seamless collaboration between business areas and technology teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements for Agile SDLC projects.
  • Work closely with Product Owners, Developers, and QA teams to ensure alignment on project objectives.
  • Maintain documentation in Confluence, ensuring up-to-date requirements, workflows, and system designs.
  • Collaborate with development teams leveraging Bitbucket for version control and code repository management.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups as needed.
  • Conduct impact assessments and gap analyses to identify business opportunities and process improvements.
  • Act as a liaison between stakeholders and technical teams to ensure seamless communication.
  • Provide support in testing efforts, including writing test cases and validating deliverables.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst working in Agile SDLC environments.
  • Proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, and Bitbucket.
  • Self-starter: Takes initiative and completes tasks without direction.
  • Strong understanding of Agile frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban.
  • Experience with process mapping, workflow documentation, and business analysis methodologies.
  • Ability to translate complex business needs into clear technical requirements.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or a related field, OR 5+ years of equivalent experience without a degree.
