Job Title: Financial Services Expert

About the Role:

  • Diligent due diligence of transactions is crucial to ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and Shariah principles. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough due diligence, reviewing business models and financial projections, negotiating and structuring facility terms, coordinating with internal partners for approvals, and supervising the review of transaction documents.

  • Transaction execution and distribution are critical aspects of this role. The selected individual will interact and coordinate with other banks and financial institutions for approvals, handle queries and observations, visit clients and legal counsel for meetings and presentations, and oversee the transaction approval and disbursement process.

  • Audit and compliance are essential components of this position. The chosen candidate will ensure compliance with relevant policies, procedures, SBP guidelines, Prudential Regulations, and bank policies/manuals relating to Compliance, Audit, and Shariah. They will also monitor and rectify audit objections, ensure Shariah compliance, and supervise record maintenance for compliance purposes.
