**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly qualified Academic Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in academia and a passion for teaching and learning.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Drive academic excellence by meeting annual targets assigned by the Head of Department/Principal, working towards targets set by the Dean/Principal to ensure a high-quality teaching and learning environment for students.
  • Teaching and Learning: Teach assigned courses as per faculty workload policy, continuously develop teaching and learning skills, and contribute to the planning of teaching programs.
  • Student Development: Employ innovative teaching strategies, facilitate experiential learning, challenge thinking, foster debate, and develop students' ability to engage in critical discourse and rational thinking.
  • Supervision and Assessment: Supervise student projects, field trips, and placements where appropriate, set, mark, and assess work and examinations, provide feedback to students, and maintain records of students' academic progress.
  • Mentorship and Support: Mentor 15 to 20 students as per the Riphah Mentoring Program and update data in VLE and other required software as per requirements.
  • Professional Growth: Incorporate Islamic and ethical values in teaching, participate in departmental and university committee activities, and contribute to publications or disseminate research findings through appropriate media.
  • Leadership and Management: Serve as a referee and contribute to peer assessment, act as a line manager supervising others' work including research teams, projects, or PhD students when required, and perform any additional duties assigned by the HOD within the scope of this job.
