The role of Academic Excellence Specialist is pivotal in ensuring that our institution achieves the highest standards of academic excellence.
- Strategic Planning: Work collaboratively with departmental heads to develop and implement strategic plans aimed at enhancing academic performance.
- Teaching and Learning: Deliver high-quality courses aligned with faculty workload policies and standards, fostering a culture of continuous improvement in teaching methodologies.
- Student Supervision: Provide guidance and support to students on field trips, placements, and research projects, ensuring their academic growth and success.
- Course Development: Develop and assess course materials, examinations, and assignments, offering constructive feedback to students and staff.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of student performance for internal evaluation and assessment, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Mentorship: Participate in the Riphah Mentoring Program, guiding students and promoting academic success through personalized mentorship.
- Digital Literacy: Update digital platforms and software as required, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Research Focus: Engage in scholarly activities, publishing research findings or disseminating them through appropriate channels, driving innovation and improvement.
- Leadership: Assume line management responsibilities, supervising colleagues in research teams and projects, or serving as PhD supervisor when required.
- Departmental Support: Perform additional duties assigned by the Head of Department, supporting the growth and success of the institution.
