Key responsibilities include monitoring and assigning truck delivery tasks to drivers in a timely manner, communicating with drivers to provide necessary instructions, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

  • Manage schedules and routes for truck drivers
  • Schedule freight pickups and deliveries
  • Provide shipping details to customers
  • Review logs of truck drivers
  • Document all calls, deliveries, routes, and times for pickups and deliveries
  • Complete paperwork related to shipments such as invoices
  • Handle customer complaints and inquiries
  • Negotiate rates and delivery timelines

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and strong attention to detail. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with an associate's or bachelor's degree in logistics, transportation, or a related field being a plus.
