Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Software Quality Assurance Engineer to play a crucial part in enhancing the quality and performance of our software products through automated testing strategies.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to validate web and mobile applications. You will work closely with developers and product managers to understand application features and establish effective test scenarios.

You will identify, document, and track defects in software applications throughout the development lifecycle. Additionally, you will perform regression testing to ensure existing functionalities remain intact after changes are made.

Continuously improving and maintaining the automated test framework is also a critical aspect of this role. Analyzing test results and providing detailed reports on software performance issues is another essential responsibility.

Furthermore, you will participate in code reviews and contribute to quality improvement discussions. Staying updated with industry best practices in test automation and quality assurance is vital for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts to validate web and mobile applications.
  2. Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand application features and establish effective test scenarios.
  3. Identify, document, and track defects in software applications throughout the development lifecycle.
  4. Perform regression testing to ensure existing functionalities remain intact after changes are made.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on automation testing.
  • Proficiency in automated testing frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript for test automation.
  • Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices and tools.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
