Director of Education

The Head Teacher is responsible for the overall leadership, management, and operations of the School. This involves collaborating with the Regional office to drive School Improvement initiatives across various areas including school operations, planning, development, monitoring, and evaluation.

• Strategic Planning: Develop the school as an effective learning organization with a positive ethos that adds value to children's learning.
• Performance Target Achievement: Collaborate with EOS to finalize school development targets in areas such as increased enrollment, better examination results, and improvement in six key areas.
• Courageous Leadership: Act as a role model, lead professionals, and facilitate continuous improvement among teachers and staff.
• Program Implementation: Make recommendations to the Head of South Schools on school operations and improvement programs, actively participate in implementation, and collaborate with other schools in the region.
• Compliance and Governance: Ensure adherence to the organizational vision, core ideology, policies, and procedures.
• Pedagogical Leadership: Provide strategic planning and implementation, human resource development, and direct student progress through annual school development plans.
• Professional Development: Monitor in-service training activities and evaluate their effectiveness in coordination with the regional team.
• Performance Appraisal: Appraise teachers and staff based on individual performance and contribution to the school development plan.
• Fiscal Responsibility: Ensure the school operates responsibly and cost-effectively, with policies and systems supporting teaching and learning.
• Data-Driven Decision Making: Establish data collection and dissemination systems for timely decision making on improved student and school performance.

- Professional Qualification (B.ED/M.ED) is mandatory.
- Strong decision-making capabilities are required.
- Effective people management skills are necessary.
- Excellent communication skills are essential.
