Job Title: Long Distance Haulage Driver

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Long Distance Haulage Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods across long distances. Your main duty will be to operate heavy-duty trucks and follow assigned routes to deliver cargo on time.

The ideal candidate will have a valid commercial driver's license (CDL) and a clean driving record. You should also have excellent time-management skills, as well as the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Physical stamina is crucial, as this job may involve long hours of driving and loading/unloading heavy cargo.

Responsibilities:

  • Transport goods across long distances in a safe and timely manner
  • Operate heavy-duty trucks following assigned routes
  • Perform pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle is in good working condition
  • Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and distance traveled
  • Comply with all traffic laws and safety regulations
  • Assist in loading and unloading cargo at designated locations
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, other drivers, and customers

Requirements:

  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL)
  • Clean driving record
  • Proven experience as a truck driver or similar role preferred
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and traffic laws
  • Excellent time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
