General Manager Job Overview

The General Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire operation, including hiring and firing, performance reviews, scheduling, training, food handling, inventory management, and customer service.

This role requires a strong leader who can manage high-volume shifts, promote good customer service policies among employees, handle banking and cash transactions, and contribute to generating sales.

We are seeking an experienced General Manager with at least 10 years of progressive management experience in a fast-paced restaurant or catering environment.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily operations, including staff supervision, inventory control, and customer relations
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to improve sales and customer satisfaction
  • Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and sanitation
  • Handle financial transactions, including banking and cash handling
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills

Experience in food service, preferably in a catering environment

Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions

Familiarity with basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
