Job Title: Corporate Billing Officer">

This role is primarily responsible for managing corporate clients' billing, projections of expected receipts, corporate receivables, and issuance and recovery of outstanding balances.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interim payment certificate (IPC) preparation and submission.
  • Invoicing of projects and maintaining accurate accounts records.
  • Timely generation of payment letters for sales teams.
  • Receivables follow-up with sales teams to ensure timely payments.
  • Bills verification at project sites to ensure accuracy.
  • Develop and implement a collection plan in collaboration with the Sales & Accounts department to detail actions to be taken as payments are in arrears.
  • Coordinate with Sales and Key Accounts Managers and business development teams to track receivables in arrears, actions taken, and next steps.
  • Follow up with clients who have liability via telephone, email, and SMS as per the collection plan.
  • Develop strategies to avoid past due receivables from falling into default.
  • Solve repayment issues with clients before taking any legal action.
  • Follow up with relevant authorities regarding progress of legal actions taken against clients with receivables in arrears.
  • Prepare a weekly status report of payments/receivables in arrears, successful collections, and actions taken.Required Skills and Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field (B.Com, BBA, or equivalent).
    • 2-4 years of relevant experience in corporate billing, accounts receivable, or finance operations.
    • Prior experience in managing corporate clients' invoicing, reconciliations, and collections is preferred.
    • Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP B1, Oracle, or similar accounting software).
    • Strong understanding of taxation, sales tax, and withholding tax rules applicable to corporate billing.
    • Proven track record of maintaining accurate billing records and handling high-volume transactions.Benefits:
