Corporate Billing Specialist

This role involves the administration of corporate client billing, projecting expected income, managing corporate receivables and issuing updates. The primary objective is to ensure timely payments from clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Generate Payment Certificates (IPCs) for timely submission by sales teams.
  • Invoice projects and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Prepare payment letters for the sales team to guarantee timely payments.
  • Coordinate with the sales team regarding outstanding payments and update them on actions taken.
  • Verify bills at project sites to prevent discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with the Sales & Accounts department to develop a collection plan in response to delinquent payments.
  • Engage with clients having liabilities via email, phone calls, and SMS as per the collection plan.
  • Implement strategies to prevent past due payments from turning into defaults.
  • Address repayment issues before considering legal action.
  • Monitor progress with relevant authorities in regards to legal actions against non-paying clients.
  • Provide weekly status reports detailing payments, receivables, and collections.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce.
  • At least 2-4 years of experience in corporate billing, accounts receivable, or finance operations.
  • Prior experience in handling corporate invoicing, reconciliations and collections is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP B1, Oracle, or similar accounting software.
  • A comprehensive understanding of taxation rules related to corporate billing.
  • A proven track record of maintaining accurate financial records and efficiently handling large transactions.
