As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in directing the manufacturing operations performed in a shift or group of production lines. Your primary goal will be to ensure that these operations reach volume, quality, and cost objectives. This involves hands-on experience with operation and maintenance of mechanical equipment, including pumps, gears, conveyors, sifters, dryers, elevators, mills, centrifuges, ID/FD fans, and compressors.

You will be responsible for designing mechanical systems, familiarizing yourself with maintenance techniques like alignment, balancing, and condition monitoring. You must also comply with IMS/GMP requirements. Furthermore, you will be accountable for the effective and timely maintenance of the overall mechanical system and its allied auxiliaries to guarantee adherence to all preventive maintenance and condition-based schedules through SAP.

Additionally, you will create and implement PM/CM schedules and introduce smart maintenance techniques/tools to optimize resource utilization. You will evaluate critical store items to ensure machines remain operational, generate PRs, assess QEMs for material selection, and track deliveries. You will also maintain ready standby equipment at all times.
