Job Summary

As a seasoned Platform Engineer, you will oversee the development and maintenance of scalable backend services and platform components. Your expertise in infrastructure automation, containerization, and orchestration will ensure seamless system reliability and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain robust infrastructure pipelines, including CI/CD and monitoring/alerting systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy and optimize ML/NLP workloads, especially model inference.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance system performance, security, and developer experience.
  • Contribute to architecture decisions and infrastructure planning as we scale our platform.
  • Advocate best practices in code quality, testing, and DevOps culture across the team.

Requirements:

Technical Skills
  • 5+ years of experience as a software engineer with a focus on backend systems and platform engineering.
  • Deep understanding of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
  • Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK).
  • Proficiency in languages like Go, Python, or Java; experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Pulumi).
  • Familiarity with data infrastructure (e.g., Kafka, Spark, Airflow).
Professional Qualifications
  • At least 2 years in DevOps and 2 years in development.
  • Strong understanding of cloud environments (GCP, AWS, Onprem, Azure).
  • Experience working on ML platforms or supporting ML workloads in production.
  • Ability to provide technical support of custom-developed systems to customers.
