Customer Development Head

Role Overview
\The Area Manager Modern Trade plays a crucial role in leading field relations with key accounts and partnering effectively with Assistant Key Account Managers to ensure effective and efficient distribution operations to deliver sales KPIs / targets across accounts.
\Key Responsibilities
\- Develops and implements plans and strategies for volume delivery and sustainable growth in the area.
- Monitors business performance daily/weekly and increases numeric and weighted distribution of Unilever Brands and SKUs.
- Achieves Intelligent Quantum and Field Capability Score KPI's on a monthly basis.
- Ensures stock management, secondary CCFOT as per given targets, quality of sales and distribution, and implementation of all new initiatives and category-specific plans.
- Increases direct coverage versus relevant universe by achieving perfect store and all visibility initiatives KPI's.
- Ensures customer's required finances and profitability (ROI) and trains and develops Territory Managers.
- Allocates resources and optimizes IT tools.
- Implements customized distribution models as per need basis.
- Manages territory and outlets.
- Reviews joint business plans regularly to ensure compliance.
- Provides feedback and suggestions on competitor activities.
- Ensures best practices of warehousing and FIFO at both distributor and trade.
- Follows audit guidelines by Unilever.
- Ensures that distributor operations and processes are safe and guided by Unilever safety policies and principles.
Requirements
\- Experience: 2-4 years in sales; education: bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred.
- Skills: relationship management, communication, collaboration, leadership, negotiation.
