**Job Title:** Database Administrator - Oracle Expert

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Database Administrator with expertise in Oracle 12c/19c administration and support. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing complex database environments, ensuring high availability, and providing top-notch support to users.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating Oracle DB work with other Systems Administrators and IT Teams, reviewing and recommending new Oracle services, and implementing best practices for database administration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support and maintain Oracle 12c/19c databases on-prem or cloud
  • Coordinate Oracle Patch Management, backup, and recovery planning/testing
  • Provide infrastructure support at all levels and after-hours support as needed
  • Collaborate with Systems Administrators and IT Teams to ensure smooth database operations
  • Develop and enforce standards and best practices for database administration
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, the candidate must have:

  • Experience supporting or maintaining Oracle 12c/19c databases
  • Knowledge of Oracle Data Guard, RAC, Advanced Security, Data Masking, Data Redaction, Tuning and Diagnostic Pack, and Multi Tenant
  • Ability to develop and enforce standards and best practices
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
Desirable Skills:
  • Oracle certifications or equivalents
  • Experience or knowledge of other databases (a plus)
  • Financial Services or Banking experience (a plus)
  • College degree preferred with 8+ years of experience in Database Administration and 7+ years of experience directly supporting Oracle Database Technologies
