Database Systems Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Database Systems Specialist to join our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in computer science and a solid understanding of database management principles.

  • Database Design and Optimization
  1. Design and implement efficient database systems that ensure optimal data integrity and security.
  2. Collaborate with software developers to design and optimize database queries for maximum performance.
Database Performance Monitoring and Security
  1. Monitor database performance and proactively tune for optimization to prevent bottlenecks and downtime.
  2. Implement robust access controls and data encryption to protect sensitive information.
Documentation and Knowledge Management
  1. Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date database documentation to facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  2. Stay current with the latest database technologies and best practices to ensure our systems remain secure and efficient.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Database Administrator.
  • Strong proficiency in database management systems such as SQL Server.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team.
