Job Title: Asset Management Specialist

Job Purpose:

  • The primary responsibility of the Asset Management Specialist is to oversee and record end-to-end processes for fixed assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining accurate records in Oracle Financials, including daily transactions and their corresponding reporting activities.
  • Recording routine and non-routine capitalization transactions of fixed assets.
  • Completing depreciation process for all company assets.
  • Maintaining a schedule of Capital Work in Progress, including accruals and advances, and performing ageing analysis to identify long outstanding balances and potential exposure to credit-risk vendors.
  • Conducting impairment testing and remaining vigilant for internal and external indicators as prescribed by IFRS.
  • Handling daily and closing activities related to fixed assets and its reporting.
  • Aquiring a thorough understanding of the relevant fixed assets domain.
  • Identifying and supporting implementation of end-to-end process improvement initiatives.
  • Serving as a key contact person for resolving queries from finance and non-finance departments.
  • Supporting the implementation of changes in group policies and procedures in accounting for fixed assets.
  • Recording disposals in the Fixed Asset Module as per process/policy.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Bachelor's / CA Inter/ ACCA/ ICAEW/MBA degree.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of working experience, including Telecom Industry and Fixed Asset role.
  • Sound knowledge of International Accounting Standards.
  • Experience in presenting financial results and variance analysis.
  • Understanding of fixed assets recording and closing process.

Required Skills:

  • Oracle Financials (experience with Fixed Assets Module preferred).
  • MS office.
