We are looking for a results-driven Sales Executive to join our team in the role of Freight Forwarding. This position requires strong communication skills, a proactive approach to generating leads, and the ability to work collaboratively with the operation team.
- Develop relationships with customers and generate new business opportunities through ocean import/export, air import/export, and trucking services.
- Form a customer base by establishing communication with prospective clients, understanding their supply chain needs, and building out proposals to meet their requirements.
- Promote our services and create quotes and bid proposals for prospective customers.
- Collaborate with management to achieve sales targets and objectives.
- Identify market trends and competitive rate actions and communicate those trends to management.
- Provide exceptional customer service and address client inquiries and concerns.
- Maintain consistent communication with the Operations team and overseas offices.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in international freight forwarding sales or general sales.
- Must be knowledgeable about freight forwarding operations in ocean and air transportation.
- Have an existing client base and excellent negotiation and closing skills.
- Self-starter with exceptional communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Possess a client-focused mindset with a strong ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Excel in decision-making and problem-solving with exceptional analytical skills.
