Program Director Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and managing multiple complex projects of work. This involves building strong relationships, influencing stakeholders, strategizing, and implementing solutions with partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple large concurrent technology programs or portfolios
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented; self-motivated
  • Excellent communication skills to interact and communicate with key stakeholders at all levels across the organization
  • Work independently to define, plan, and execute technical projects
  • Motivate teams to solve problems and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment
  • Exhibit outstanding influencing skills to drive large-scale technical delivery at all levels of the organization
  • Experience using planning and task management tools (Gantt, Jira)

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Lead project delivery to support long-term business objectives
  • Create clear scope definition across all areas of the project
  • Design, develop, and manage complex integrated roadmaps and delivery plans
  • Partner with stakeholders to provide strategic thought leadership
  • Capture, resolve, and escalate risk & impediments
  • Support senior-level executives and create C-level presentation materials
  • Run agile ceremonies and ensure a healthy team backlog and process

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in product or program management
  • 3+ years of experience overseeing roadmap strategy, definition, improvement, and measurement
