Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of day-to-day operations within the finance department, ensuring compliance with internal policies and donor guidelines. Key responsibilities include:

  • Supervising a team of finance professionals to ensure accurate financial reporting and record-keeping.
  • Providing guidance on financial policies and procedures to staff members.
  • Reviewing payment documents and bank reconciliations to prevent errors and discrepancies.
  • Liaising with implementing partners to ensure smooth project implementation and grant management.

Key Requirements

  • Masters degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent professional certification.
  • Advanced Diploma in Accounting with at least five years of experience in accounting and finance.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and knowledge of accounting software (SUN system) is an added advantage.
