
Financial Manager

The Finance and Grants Manager will oversee the daily operations of a finance department. This includes supervising a team of professionals, providing support for grant management, and ensuring compliance with internal and donor guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage the work of a Field Office-based Finance Officer and Grants Officer
- Collaborate with a Deputy Director on small grants project management
- Assist in implementing finance policies, procedures, and systems
- Ensure compliance with donor procedures and guidelines
- Review payment documents for accuracy and proper backup
- Monitor bank reconciliations to ensure proper utilization of funds
- Liaise with partners and provide guidance on donor policies
Requirements
- Master's degree in Accounting or Finance, or CA (Part Qualified)
- Advanced Diploma in Accounting from a recognized institution with at least 5 years of accounting experience
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, is an advantage
- Mature personality with stable temperament and ability to maintain confidentiality
